You can make a foot soak by mixing two cups of warm water, a cup of vinegar, and juice from a piece of lemon. Soak your feet in this mixture for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse your feet thoroughly and dry them well. This procedure has to be repeated twice daily until the fungus is completely gone.
Lemon juice contains both antifungal and antiseptic properties. Lemon juice contains citric acid which helps stop the spread of the fungus. You can also use fresh lemon juice on the infected nail directly. Let it stay there for 30 minutes before you rinse this off with warm water.
